2007 Goals

Hey all I was just wondering if anyone was making any headway with their 2007 goals. As some may remember, I wanted to take a pole dancing class. Well, I registered for the class and it starts Feb. 15th. I'm also taking a lap dance workshop. I'm also still trining to walk the 1/2 marathon in April. So, if you haven't done anyting on your list - get it out, dust it off, and get going!! Sharyn

Hi Sharyn, My goals were 1. start exercising more strenously. bought a neat pair of weighted gloves and have been power walking 13/14 days. 2. look into a few personal trainer sessions. got a coupon for BEAT personal trainers and left an e-mail message for some info. 3. back to protein first working it. Loss has been slow...about 3 lbs. since Christmas but it's moving again. Karen -170.5 since 12/05/05. Goal: -29.5 by 6/2007.

I have several: 1. Finish my shop/garage 2. Be more consistant with my daily walking 3. Learning to be more outgoing 4. Surviving the teenage years w/my kids (oldest is 18 this year!) 5. Understanding how short life can be, and enjoy it more! Gotta make up for those years where I was just existing.

HI there! I never answered the original post about goals.. but I'll share anyway (if no one minds) 2007 goals 1. To be out of the 200's by the end of the year. I am at 279.5 It is possible, I think. 2. To fly comfortable. (will find out in Sept) 3. To get back to the gym ACCOMPLISHED yesterday. lol 4. To drink 60oz of water or more a day. ACCOMPLISHED 5 out of 7 days 5. To get into a 2x shirt by Valentine's Day ACCOMPLISHED 6. To join the kickboxing group at the gym. (not quite ready yet) So far so good.. 3 down.. 3 to go. Amanda

Sharyn, I am working out three days a week at the gym with my husband. And I have a swim class two times a week. I would like to take the pole dancing class sometime.... Sounds like a Blast ! gayle

OMG!!! those classes sound like FUN!!! something I have always wanted to do... where are they held? my goals??? hmmm... 1. More exercise 2. more time on my art work and music (includes some writing) 3. organize my house! I have made a LOT of headway on #2 & #3 but... #1 is the most important for my health... DARN... Sharyn, great new picture! My goals... 1 more consistant exercise...I just turned 50..maybe too old to pole dance, but it sounds fun. 2 bake to basics....protein, water, eating 6x a day and take controle of this weight loss. 3 write a book (started and sitting in Word in my laptop) 4 take classes in public speaking (schedualed in MArch) 5 train my Boston Terrier to be a therapy dog.. he passed the first class last fall 6 Get my home improvements done! this has been a 2 year long project... i am ready to be finished... doing what I can but my DH is 300 pounds and cannot bend... limits what he can accomplish peace ~ Pam
