South East Ohio Support Group..

It looks like its going to become a reality. The Mgr at the Amerihost in Cambridge is working out a deal with me for the use of the meeting room at the hotel. We could have it for an hour-2 hours once a month. A time for us to share with one another. We may have a topic, we may just sit and talk and share our thoughts with one another. I really want to get this going soon. I think we all need to know we are not alone in this struggle. Preops, postops and those thinking about the WLS will all be welcome. Hi Laura, Hey girl, I miss u bunches too, I had sooo much fun at the Ohio Conference with you!! Yes we need to get together....there is a skatepark in Marietta for your son...my son would love to meet your son and they could even hang out there together! I can't believe we are finally getting snow this morning.....what a pleasant surprise!!! I would love to attend a support meeting!....the day and time really depends on my hubbys work schedule...unless I can bring Reed......my little guy, which I could do in the day time, as far as the evenings, hubby is out of town about every other week, so as long as its a day he's home, I'm in!! I too would be interested in attending a support group. It would be the same drive for me whether I go to Cambridge or OSU. During the day would be better because I do not like to drive at night, but if I get a job, it would depend on those hours.

Miss Laura; I wasn't sure if you knew that there is already a support group being held in Cambridge at the hospital. We have been meeting every other month, but starting next month will meet every month. The next meeting is Feb. 8, 2007 at 6:00 pm. I can get you more info. if you want it. I have been to two of them and they are very informative. Last meeting Holly had different types of proteins, soy milk etc.... for us to sample. Just e-mail me if you want to chat.
