Hi All, I'm living in Georgia, but am from near Dayton Ohio..Who does Vertical Gastric Sleeve in or near Dayton? Thanks, Kathryn W.

I know of two surgeons groups who do the DS, which is the sleeve with the bonus of malabsorption. I'm not sure if they do just the sleeve, but worth checking them out. They're both in Kettering / Middletown area: newlifesurgery.org seriousweightloss.org

Hello Kathryn, I had a VSG done by Dr. David Schumacher in Miamisburg, OH. He's awesome. He heads Kettering Bariatrics at Sycamore and Kettering Hospitals. I think he is the only one in this area that is doing the sleeve right now. He and his staff are awesome. Check him out, he's well worth it. Hi Julie, I called his office today from Georgia and they are sending me a packette..Here in Georgia the Surgeons charge a fee up between $1500 to $3,000.00 besides getting paid by Medicare insurance. At one surgeons office I had to pay a $100.00 to start paperwork. How are you doing? Have you been very sick? Thanks for all your help! Kathryn
