Protein bars???????

Hello all!!!! I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on some good protein bars out there that you can find in the stores. I don't want to have to order off line and pay for shipping (gets too expensive!!!) Also it is very overwhelming when looking at all of them because they are all so different and I am not exactly sure what I am looking for!!! So any info would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hi Dawn, I only really like EAS AdvantEdge Carb Control Bars, they have 21 g protein 2g sugar 4 g impact carbs, 23 total carbs and 210 calories. I like the Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars, they are really yummy and I also like their crispy bars..i do add peanut butter to the crispy bars to add more protein and more taste. I get mine at Walmart. ALso walmart has some pria bars that are pretty good, but i can't remember which ones I liked, I just like the EAS bars the best!! WEll good luck! Tabitha

I also like the EAS Advantedge shakes. They have 2gm of carb and 15 grams of protein. Chocolate fudge s the best flavor. ' Lori

i just tried atkins fudge brownie carmel bars and they are not bad. I got mine at gnc here is the info 1 bar 160 cals 8 grms of fat (kind of high) 85 mg of sodium 17g of carbs 9 g of fiber so that makes 8 grms of net impact carbs 1g of sugar no sugar alcohol 12 g of protein if you have a gnc gold card you can save 20% he fist 10 days of the month at my gnc you can buy them by the box or bar. anything you do not like you can take back as lng as you have a receipt

I love the pure protein bars in blueberry,,they are delish!! Plus the Vitamine Shoppe has great power crunch bars in cookie dough and they are great put in the freezer. They are like a cookie wafer. I usually eat the protein bars right before my cycle, when I have intense sugar/sweet cravings.

I was at Krogers this morning (in the rain!) and saw they had the Pure Protein bars on sale for $1 each. I bought several different flavors to try and had the blueberry crumb cake for my morning snack-----oh my gosh! A good protein bar! Not too big---about 20 grams of protein and 190 calories per bar and a completely different taste than the usual cardboardy chocolate bars...I'm going back and at least getting a few more blueberry and strawberry ones.

Where do you find these at (specifically) in your Kroger's? I saw mention of these on sale at Kroger's but didn't see the actual product at my Kroger's. Any help is appreciated!

My Kroger has one of those "aisles"/sections that has health food like whole grain stuff and Kashi cereal and such. They are there next to the Atkins products.
