Possible Stricture

Hey. I saw my surgeon yesterday for my 8 week check-up. He thinks I have a possible stricture so I am having a scope on Friday to check things out. Hope everything goes OK. Will let you all know.

I have been throwing up quite a bit. Breakfast and morning snack seems to go OK. Then in the afternoon things don't seem to sit too well. If I slow down more it makes a difference but I think there may be a stricture too. I was able to eat more at a time at the end of November/beginning of December. Now I can't eat hardly anything at all. Sometimes they find a stricture and sometimes they don't. I will be curious to see what it is like to have a scope and if he finds anything wrong.

Hi... I had surgery on 5/4 with Dr Mikami and have had to be scoped 4 times. The first 2 they found a stricture and the next 2 ulcers. The scope is nothing to worry about... other then the IV nothing hurts at all.. the nurses at OSU are great , very friendly and professional... Dr. Mikami is so kind and caring.. he will just give you some good drugs and you'll slip off for a good nap.. the next thing you know they will be waking you up to get something to drink and go home.... let us know how things turn out...
