Insurance approval question....
Hi..I'm new to this forum..and have found it to be VERY helpful so far...I'm very anxious about having this surgery done. (meaning I'm MORE than READY)...I have met all the criteria needed for my insurance and for the bariatric program....but when I got my progress notes from my doctor to send in to the program to submit to my insurance for approval...there were 6 months worth..but Sept. and Dec. were not in those notes...Just June, July, August, October, November and January...I have NGS American (Trinity Health)...has anyone else experienced this..and if so what was the outcome...I want everything to go as smooth as possible..and have done everything asked of me to obtain approval from insurance...I'm just praying this doesn't mess things up. :-S

I wish that I could answer your question better than this...but have you contacted your doctor to find out why those 2 months were deleted? They more than anyone should be able to answer that question for you. Don;t they have someone who will submit all of the paperwork to your insurance company? I guess I don;t really understand how you ended up with the doctor's notes and stuff.
My advice would be to call the doctor's office and ask why these months have been deleted. Best wishes to you! hugs, Karen
