Southeast Ohioans...

I am curious if any of you who live in this part of Ohio would like to get together and have a healthy lunch and talk with one another. I have been missing my support group meetings ( which only happen every other month) and would love to reconnect with my Oh WLS family. If anyone is interested please let me know. I am also interested in to help organize an overnight slumber party at the Amerihost in Cambridge. We could book rooms at a group rate, swim, hang out in the meeting room, talk, Work out, laugh and have a great time. If the weather would co-operate we could have a hike out at Salt Fork State Park. It would be a lot of fun to be with you all. I am 17 months post op now and working hard to get back to that Newly post op excitement and jump start getting these last 30 pounds off. I live about an hour south of Zanesville and would be interested in meeting up. It sounds like fun. I am almost 6 weeks post op, so it would be interesting to hear from others who are farther out than I am. I don't know about the overnight stay since I am not working, but I would definitely come and hang out. Let me know.

Miss Laura, I think that is a great idea. However, if you are interested, there is an informal support group here in Newcomerstown that meets the third Tuesday of every month at the First Baptist Church. The ladies that are in charge are really great!!!! They are both at least 2 years post-op, and can relate I am sure to anything you may be experienceing. Lets all get through the Holidays and I will get some plans made for our own Southeast Ohio Support group .. I think we will all need it after the holidays.. LOL Miss Tabitha, I too had an awesome time that weekend and made some fun memories.. Thanks again for letting me bunk in your room and having a fun roomate to talk with !!!!
