it's official.. it's a hernia

good news or bad news? Bad news.. I got a hernia.. where my spleen was removed.. elongated. about the size of a 3 yr olds arm when it's riled. It's to the point exercise in my abdomen is painful. Good news? Maybe I can get a TT with this repair. Wish me luck, my PCP is deciding which hoops we need to jump through now. bad news.. wish the hernia was in the girls..(ok TMI) they need fixed more than my tummy. OK any of y'all have words of wisdom on what direction to go from here? Like what kind of a Dr to contact? that might be able to do the TT also, or do I just head to a PS Dr? love and hugs, Vickie

I hear ya about the girls needing fixed. I am in the same boat with you, I have a hernia and my dr is checking to see if I can have a TT done at the same time.. I'll say a prayer for the two of us.. Take care.... Julez

I just went through the same thing, my plastic surgeon filed for the tummy tuck and the hernia repair, most can fix both, so check around and find some that are good. I know a good one in the Columbus area that I really like, if you need a suggestion, however, I have no idea what insurance he takes. Cheryl
