Update on sac1556's lapband surgery

I spoke to Sherrie's (sac1556) sister today and she said that Sherrie's lapband surgery went smoothly yesterday. She was in a lot of pain for a while but was able to tolerate juice and jello so they were going to send her home. She is still a little sore but doing well. Tracy

Thanks Tracy for posting! I'm home and things went better than I expected! I was in pain in recovery but was up and moving, walking around that evening. I even refused some of my pain meds. I feel really decent today and had some cream of chicken soup this evening. It was yummy! Can't wait until tomorrow. I the difference one day can make. See ya.

Sherrie, I am so glad you are home and feeling good. My mom had her's the same day and she is still in a tremedous amount of pain. I think the gas has been really hard on her, she is not one to take pain meds and she has been taking them every four hours since she came home yesterday. Let me know when you are feeling up for it, maybe we can get together and get a walk in outside or at the mall. Take care Tracy
