Testosterone Question

OK..this is a little embarrising, but I know I am among friends. When I went to the Columbus seminar there was conversation about us ladies with a labido problem being put on Testosterone cream. Has anyone tried it yet and if so what have the results been? I am 43, and with all the weight loss and going through the "CHANGE" of life at the same time, my hubby isnt a very happy man in that department and to be honest, neither am I. Hi pam I was there also. My friend just went to her doctor and asked that he run the test and if she was low that she wanted the cream I'll have her email U I'll talk to you later. J

I took testosterone for years and it helped! My levels were really low so they put me on a patch. It worked really well for the first few months but I developed an allergic reaction to it and would get HUGE blisters wherever the patch was. They started me on a cream after that, but I was allergic to it after a couple of months, too. I havent been on it since then, but it really did make a big difference in how I felt, not just my libido, either! Good luck! Rebecca

Everything I've heard about therapy has been positive--I'd go for it. You may have trouble finding someone to prescribe though--seems dr.s are down on HRT enought with FEMALE hormones; they don't even want us touching or handling testosterone
