So Glad I Met You at the Conference!!

My son's birthday was Saturday & we had a big OSU-Michigan party, but I just had to stop by the conference to meet some of you during lunch break. (don't worry, although I crashed the conference, I didn't eat anything) I was so glad to meet Laura & Tabitha, and Debbie & Dawn & Deb & Brenda & Monica and everyone else that I can't remember your names (I am so bad with names). I can't believe I missed Sharyn & Earl and the rest of you!!! There just wasn't enough time!! Let's all plan on going to Cincinnati next year, ok?? Hugs, Darlene

Darlene, Your ears shoulda been burning later in the after noon as Tabitha and I were talking about how Beautiful a young lady you were inside and out. Your warmth shines right through your beauty. We are so proud of you for losing so much weight and you seem so honest, committed and loyal to your new lifestyle. I am so happy that we got to meet you as well. You are a sweet adorable gorgeous young lady. Now who says we have to wait for an official conference to get together. I would love to host an official " Support weekend in my hometown of Cambridge Ohio. Lots of friends in the same boat coming together and sharing their journey with one another. I have good connections with a local Amerihost Hotel and most likely could get a very good rate for us. We could work out an arrangement with a local eatery for providing low cal, healthy hot meals at a kids menu price for us. We could have testimonial speakers ( us and share our stories with one another) and have a dance in the evening. I have a friend who I am sure who would dj the dance for us. I am serious. I think we could have a great socially supportive fun filled weekend. I dont want to have to wait another year to be around like minded positive people like i met this weekend. We need to have a boost in between the big meetings. If any one is interested let me know and I will see about getting one going for maybe around Valentines Day.
