I am on pureed foods for the next 18 days. I have been having a hard time. I do like cottage cheese and mashed potatoes but everything else I have tried to puree looks like vomit and I can not bring myself to eat it. Anyone have healthy ideas for me? Maris

Maris.. My friend.. I know I know.. The pureed stuff can get a little smooshy.. But here were my favorites. I Loved Refried beans with a little melted cheese on top. They were a little spicy, but my pouch seemed to love them and never gave me any serious gas problems I couldnt handle. . I added a little very finely minced crushed pinapple to my cottage cheese. I also ate low sodium canned vegetarian vegtable soup from campbells and just chew chew chewed it. I used the self puree method.. LOL Maris.. I never could stomach pureed meats. .However the deviled ham on a melba toast was yummy.. I know this sounds so gross but chewing well and letting that melba toast soften in your mouth worked great for me. I bought the wheat melba toast to add some fiber and extra nutrition. I will think back and give you some more ideas later. Love ya Laura

Maris, I ate a lot of Wendy's chili, mac & cheese (mushes really well), also mashed tatos but you said you dont like those. Refried beans are great and you can use some sour cream with it...YUMM....anyway,,,hope my little bit helps....BTW....welcome to being a Looser. Pam 314/129

Maris I just posted a recipe for pumpkin puree. It would be great to have at Thanksgiving since we can't eat the pumpkin pie.

Hii Maris I blended a lot of chicken and fish. I would add a little light Miracle Whip so it wasn't dry. I also ate baby food bananas and apples (but not apple sauce - I just don't like it). Good luck Sharyn
