LOW COST SURGERY

Has anyone had to self-pay? Does any one know of low cost surgery? I cannot afford $35,000 and I would like to stay in the US if at all possible... HELP!!!

If you have an additional problem like reflux or a bad gakkbladder, Dr. Fallang in Dayton will split bill for the additional procedure & it will come off your total amount owed. It really helps out a lot. Darlene

how does financing work out with that? did you have to go through a bank, or do they have a program there?

You can apply for a loan through Inmed. (but not if you have a bankruptcy) Capital one has medical loans Beneficial has loans.. *although not medical, and sometimes high rates* Also Wells Fargo. I got alot of my money from a loan through my Credit Union. They have signature loans if you belong to one of them. I heard National City Bank has medical loans. Or if you go to college, take out more against your financial aid. Really low rate there. Lots of options out there. Hope that helps. Amanda Wow.. is this a Dr C get together??? lol

The surgeon's office should have information on financing options. I think Capital One is one that does medical financing. Good luck!

I have found that the Cabell Huntington hospital in West Virginia. Center for weight Control has a self pay program. www.yourwls.com Just click on the finances link. It is also a Center of Excellence. Good Luck Michelle
