OH in OH!

I wanted to remind everyone that ObesityHelp is having our Regional Conference in Columbus, Ohio, on Saturday, November 18th, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., there will be a party at the Ft. Rapids Indoor Waterpark Resort. When you attend an ObesityHelp Event, you obtain great information, motivation and FUN. The Conference will be at: Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites at Ft. Rapids Indoor Water Park Resort I-70 at Hamilton Road 4560 Hilton Corporate Drive Columbus, Ohio 43232 (Don't worry, if you want to watch the big football game, there is a sports bar there so you don't have to miss it!) Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. The cost is $45.00 for the Event and a separate admission of $25.00 for the party at the Ft. Rapids Indoor Waterpark Resort. Hi Cathy, I wish I could attend this event...but I am having plastics on Monday... here is a question others may ask .... when registering for the waterpark, I know they need reservations but do they need to pay that upfront as well? I know this particular program is being sponsored by a plastic surgeon..so I am glad to see a couple bariatric docs who know their stuff attending.. Thanks Dr. Curry and Dr.Stickler. Brenda

Hi Brenda, Good to hear from you. I hope you're doing great! Great question! If someone wants to attend the Ohio Event, they need to make a reservation with Dr. Monica Ganz. If someone also wants to go to the Waterpark, they will need to let Dr. Ganz know at the time they register for the OH Event. Dr. Ganz will need to obtain the exact number of tickets for the Waterpark. The Waterpark tickets do not need to be paid until they check in for the OH Event. How are the sessions set up. I have absoutely no intrest in plastic surgery or learning about lap banding and wondered if sessions will be concurrent or what. I really want to hear Dr. Ganz and Dr. Stickler. Thanks. Dianna

Hi Dianna, The speakers provide their presentations one after the other. There are not any breakout sessions to choose from. However, if there is a presentation you are not interested in, you can go to the vendor area or socialize with other members. If you have any other questions, let me know. What about showing up the morning of the conference? Is that allowed...I really can't miss the game (its a family thing), but I could come early and just hit the road before it really ends to make it home for the game....but I just don't want to commit yet...
