Another NEW one! :wave: Question about other body pains?

Hi! I am 3 days post op. I'm still really sore, but the pain is improving some. I am having a heck of a time getting my profile done; adding a pic, etc. I am no computer wiz by any means!!! I have a really bad lower back problem and will be seeing a neurosurgeon in a couple weeks for his opinion. My pain management doctor has referred me. Anyway, the meds he has given me and the epidural injections have not helped at all. Therefore, my physical exercise is at an all time low! BUT, the pain medication I'm taking for my post-op Lap is great for my back!!! I actually think I might request it from the neurosurgeon and put off another surgery for as long as possible. Does anyone else have problems like this? I'm so afraid I won't loss weight like I should because of the difficult time I have exercising? Any help???

Hi Donna, I saw your reply on another members post and you stated noone responded to your post.. I am sorry noone sent you a response, I do not always get a chance to read/respond to posts on a daily basis, but I looked you up and thought I would respond. First off, welcome to the Ohio board and for making it to the Post-Op side of things. I am also sorry to hear about the pain that you are in. I really have no suggestions or comments on your issues other than I hope you continue to feel better and I hope you progress upto the point where you feel comforatble exercising. Hello Donna, I had lap band surgery with Dr. Curry on Aug 28th. I have no answer for back pain as I have had it in my upper back for years. Chiropractor did not help and Rehab doctor did not help. The Rehab dr put me in a back support that I about suffocated in. I am hoping that this surgery will help me get rid of this big belly and help me with my posture. Hang in there and just do the best you can Sandy
