DR. CURRY, HELP PLEASE!

Hello Dr. Curry, I tried to reach you at Deaconess today, Lisa was going to call me back, but I haven't heard from you. I have pain at the port site ( largest incision). It looks fine, cool to the touch, but, occasionally, I get this sharp pain, as if i'm being pinched. Then it goes away. It feels a little better if I rub it lightly. Can I use a ho****er bottle? It might feel better. I can, probably take Advil for pain, right? Can I take a whole capsule or cut it up? Do you think my port flipped or disconnected? When I press on that area, I feel a ridge like thing -- scar, maybe? I had a cold last week and coughed a lot. And yesterday I PBed twice. I took it easy today and tolerated my meals well. What's wrong with me? Please, refer to pain only; WE BOTH KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME OTHERWISE! Thank you very much.

Rita, You can use a water bottle and take a whole advil. I'd rather just take a look at it than speculate over the internet - come in Monday. C
