I don't have this insurance, but I do know that written exclusions are generally very difficult to get around. Start with your human resources dept. to see about having an exception made. Usually when you hear of having a written exclusion overturned, it is with the help of an attorney. There is one that advertises on this site that specializes in this sort of thing. Might be worth the call to see what can be done. I would visit my dr., asap, also. Have him document your conditions and note in your chart that they are weight related. Also, make sure your weight is taken AND listed on your chart. Ask to be tested for sleep apnea, if you haven't been tested already. Make sure all your aches and pains are noted IN YOUR CHART... insurance companies will require that they are noted by your physician. Also, have him note ANY and ALL past tried diet attempts and the outcome. Just a few hints...best of luck.
