New to this board

Hello. I am still in the process of looking into wls. I start my nutritional classes on Thursday this week. I am really excited. The first letter has been sent to the insurance company and I am waiting patiently to see if I am approved. Any advice on surgery and post-op info would be great. I have done my research and I know this is something that I want to do. I was on Physician's Weight Loss for a year and still have protein products left from that, so I am hoping to use that stuff up before buying more. I have looked at www.unjury.com and that will probably be a place that I try first, as it has been recommeded.

Kristina, Welcome to the Ohio board. OSU and Dr. Mikami/Dr. Needleman are great. I am down 120 lbs and just loving life. You thought no one would know where Shawnee is? Hello No Known Identity Where are you from? Shawnee is a tiny town along with Moxahala and Glenford, I know of both of them. I love it out here though! When do they figure out if I will have Dr. Mikami or Dr. Needleman? Do you request which doctor you want or do they just set you up with whoever if free first? Thanks, Kristina

I have not done well with protein drinks. I have been using NSA Slimfast with a Tablespoon of peanut butter. Where is Shawnee, Ohio? Good luck!
