Fantastic! I am so impressed with you. Also, you have my style with your choice of clothes..Believe me, you will hear me scream when I can go into a store and buy real clothes with real style. I don't know if I should be doing it this soon or not but I have been looking at clothes and coats at the thrift store and choosing what I would buy if I could fit into it...There is a whole new world full of clothes out there.. And I let myself dream a little bit...I don't want to think too much about all the good things because I want to concentrate on all the work I am going to have to do to get there..I know it is going to be rough at first just getting used to the routine of eating and chewing and drinking...I go for my last pretest day on Wednesday...Last week went good, lungs were good, weight was 275 (so I gained a few pounds from the last supper syndrome). This week is the ekg and blood work... Also saw my little grandson that weighs 3lbs 11oz (up from 1 lb 4oz) at the hospital.....No regrets, I'm still 100% sure that this is what I want...I was waiting to get cold feet. I might at the last minute. I am having my daughter drop me off at the hospital, so I won't have anyone there.. I figure that the operation will last about 4 hours (that's what the doctor said) I am having open and having the gall bladder taken out also and that's just too long to have anyone sit there waiting. I told my boyfriend (he'll be home with the kids) that if I die they'll let you know..He's not supportive so that went over really good... When I was emotional last week and crying over everything he told me I should just cancel the surgery...Could you imagine? Not in a million years. Well enough of my ranting and rambling... You look great and you look happy...FOLLOW WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY......
If you see any smaller clothes at the thrift shop get them. I always had goal clothes. I would pick up size 16 and 14s for now. I lost 36 pounds the first month and was wearing a 18 in a month. Im glad your test went well. I wish I was with you the day of your surgery. I didnt let my husband go. He would have made me a nerves wreck being impatient. I had both my daughters and one of my sisters with me. Everytime he came to the hospital he acted like it killed him to be there. I just looked at your profile. I love your pictures of your children and grandchildren. I turned into a real bit----- before my surgery. I was so cranky it is so normal. I also had open surgery. I had a 10 inch scar. Open surgery is alot harder to heal from. and hurts alot more than lap. I had a really hard time the first week. I do not take pain well at all. and the hospital was horrible. And I hated what I did to myself. Beleive me you will be fine after you get home. Just make sure you take that extra pillow and also baby wipes. You might want to take a fan. I had a real bad problem sweating. They put a big fan on me. I had my surgery last year sept 21. It was hot that week.
Keep intouch
