I haven't been on here much since I had gallbladder surgery, got a new client that is killing me..I am not use to thismuch work..lol I have my insurance approval for abdominoplasty and a breast reduction..well I am excited but a nervous wreck at the same time..I love Dr. Martin and know he will take very good care of me. let me know when you come back into town...I would love to meet up with you. Sorry Brenda - I just got back, But, I will be there next Fruday to get my drain tubes out. Dr Martin, of course, is great and took great care of me. My body gave him quite a workout. And my hernia was a mess - took a whole hour. He said it couldn't have lasted too much longer because of how tightly it was strangulated. See ya soon Sharyn

Hey Sharon, I know about the hernia thing..I have had him getting on me about mine for awhile..but now it's near time.. So how was your pain managed? what was your down time until you felt like getting up moving around again? I have so many questions...I have put off plastics all this time because I am the biggest chicken alive..LOL take care of yourself!

Don't be a chiicken brenda. The pain is very manageable withthe Percocet. My surgery was Friday at 7:30, I was in my room (and alert) around 5pm, and I left the hospital saturday around 2pm. I stayed with my family in a hotel and we went back home Sunday morning. When they gpt me up on Sturday morning, I REALLY didn't want to get up. Then it's gotten easier each day. when I went Friday for my 1 week appt, we even went to Wlmart on our way back home. (OK, yes I over did it a bit and was very tired). I'm getting stronger everyday and will be much more mobile once my drain tiubes come out. You'll do fine! Sharyn
