Stress test 2006

I did have a heart attack in 2003 and have CHF. I had a stress test the other day. The other stress test I had I couldnt walk a minute my heart rate was there. This one took 16 minutes of walking up a hill fast. My Tech said I am in shape. Now for the results of the stress test is the sept 6. My tech said my heart did great. What great news for someone that almost died in 2003. This surgery saved my life. And I feel like a young woman. I started jogging instead of walking. It is like I want to run so fast. Like I use to when I was young. I truly think I could fight off a attacker and out run one. That I couldnt do last year. What a great year !!!!! Barb

Congrats Barb! Before my surgery I had to have the stress test chemically. A couple of months ago, my skinny doctor decided that I needed to have another one. Like you, I jogged my way through it. I don't know who was more surprised, ME or my skinny doctor.

Hey Pam I went pretty well. Apparantely I'm very juicy. I was a bleeder on the OR table and am very swollen now. My insurance paid for the hernia repair. I know I could have gotten them to pay for a tummy tuck, but I didn't have time to document rashes. I thought I might start really looking into pplastics for December and would start this summer to document rashes. But, the hernia decided it didn;t want to wait. I could have just gotten the hernia repaired, but I don't have much leave time at work. Actually - i cuurently have none. Yes, I get short term disability, but you have topo use your own leave for the 1st 2 weeks. Well, I did that last year, and have now done it this year. So I just don't have the leave for multiple procedures. Sorry - I didn't mean to ramble. Bottom line - start "creating" rashes and call your PCP for creams. Sharyn

Wow Barb, what a great moment! I could barely make my preop stress test... they had to call a young man to push me up to the camera! I may look foreward to the next one!

You will shock them on your next test !! I really was getting into the excercise....I dont think my heart is weak anymore. I will find out Sept 6. But I do have a enlarged heart and always will have that. Once they are large they are always large. My daughters altrosound went great.... Everything is perfect !!!! I have been shopping for my little granddaughter !!!!!!! I went with my daughter to the altrosound and got to see her. So sweat !!!!! How are you doing. You need a new pic up !!!! How much have you lost..... I am 148 now. I am tall and thin.. In a size 6-8 meduim shirt.......... I feel like my head is to big for the bod.. LOL Hugs Barb
