I have been banded almost 2 years now. And I'm getting a little concerned - I seems I have lost about 70 lbs and then gain 10 # (I don't know why I eat t he same allthe time and exercise) is there a point where I will not lose anymore? I will do my exercising and eat right but I'm not losing. I have great restriction (i have not had a fill in about a year). I'm losing hope please help.

Teresa, You might want to talk to my dietitian Erin, she is a band patient. [email protected] C

Teresa, I've been banded about 14months and I think I know how you feel. I believe that after a while that we learn, without knowing it , how to eat around the band. You may not be eating anymore, but you could be eating higher calories or more carbs. Also Dr. C just told me that you can lose as much as .8cc of your fill in a year. Try writing down what you are eating for a week and see if your calorie intake hasn't edged up a bit. I just got a fill after not losing for 4 months. I'm starting to lose again, but not as fast as in the past. Good Luck, Cathy
