what to eat !!!!
Don't be surprised if you have trouble with any eggs. 4 months outs and eggs are still hard for me to digest. The dietician said the protein in eggs is difficult to break down.. I do better with egg beaters and add some american cheese.
Best wishes to you! Keep up with the fluids more than anything!!!!

Hi Kathy
I had Dr. Ben-Meir also, and I too am still on pureed... you might want to read your book again or call our Dietician Peter Valencic.... I am real sure our book says NO EGGS on pureed..... I would hate to think a mistake could make you sick.... I am not trying to tell you what to do But You Need to Call Cleveland Center for Bariatric Surgery and talk to the Nutritionist/Dietician before you try any eggs
hugs,
Barbara

Kathy,
You probably really want to wait until the soft/transitional stage for eggs, and don't be too bothered if they don't sit well.
I ate a lot of soup on the pureed stage but also ate chicken meatballs pureed in tomato sauce with a bit of cheese, some meatloaf, even some chicken stroganoff that I made for the family. I was at least 2-3 months out before I could even stomach eggs and even now I get a touch quease if I eat the whole thing.
Otherwise...how ya feeling???
Melissa
