One Year Anniv.

Hi everyone, I can't believe that today, Aug. 12th is my one yr. surgery date anniv. This surgery has sure changed my life and more important I can actually look forward to being alive to raise my children. Things have been getting better over the past 6 months, I havent had any stricture procedures since then so I guess 4th was the charm. I have lost a total of 180Lbs. Wow that seems to be a lot, I have never thought of myself as thin and I might be thin but my heart and soul will always remain a BBW, I still look in the mirror and have to do that double take we all do. Anyway, I just wanted to also THANK all of you for being there for me when I was having all the problems and making everyone feel like a family here. Dr. Curry, if you read this, you are, besides my husband the best man that has ever come into my life and I personally have to Thank You for my life. Your skill and compassion makes me and so many others survive another day, week, month and year and then we have more to come in the future. So THANK YOU so much for giving so much to this community. Pam, CONGRATS!!!!! You are always giving everyone support and encouragement and it helps so much. You are a treasure, and a blessing to so many, thank you for being you, and enjoy you and your new life. Just know you help so many of us that are "newbies" continue on and strive for success. This is such a live changing experience and those of us who have been forturnate to have it will never forget it.
