Support Group

Is there a support group in or near Brunswick, Ohio?

Kathy, None that I've heard of. The Medina County area could really use one. I can't drive to Cleveland to go to a support group, so don't have one at all. Let us know if you find one! Calpernia

Maybe when my surgery is finished we can get a support group going maybe one of the libraries will let us use a room once a month.

Hi! I would be very interested in a support group nearby the Medina area. I live in Wellington (Lorain county) but it's close to the Medina area. It's a heck of a lot closer than traveling to Cleveland that's for sure! Count me in if you get something started! I'm just getting started in my journey for WLS. I just completed my psych evaluation and have a few more weigh-ins with my doctor before we submit paperwork to my insurance company. I would really like to find others in my area who are pre or post surgery for support. ~Lisa

Unfortunately, I am not close to the Brunswick area, but I do know that Panera's have a room sometimes in their restaurant that they let you have for free. Maybe something you can check into. Linda
