Less than 24 Hours!
Well, time sure flies! My surgery is at 7:30am tomorrow. I can't believe it is here. Sorry I have not posted much. I have been extremely busy trying to get my work caught up to where I can take leave plus some other family functions have taken me away. I wanted to thank all those for their words of encouragement. Sometimes it has been hard to face that this is the route I must take. However, in the end, I think life will be much better. I'll post again when I come home and am feeling up to it. Thanks again to everyone. Betina
Good luck. I'll be a couple of weeks behind you. I also have doctor Needleman and my date is the 30th. I know what you mean about it being hard to face that this is the route. I was in denial for the whole time I was in the process, over a year. But I agree with you this is the best way and we will be healtier in the end. I'll say a prayer for you tomorrow morning.

Btenia,
Best wishes tomorrow. Please keep in mind. The first month is hard. Really 6 weeks. It was for me. But after you get on solid foods your life comes together. Your going to look and feel great. be sure to get your measurments. and before pictures. I took some nude ones. My god you should see them. I was a complete different person. Remember the sucess of this surgery is to excercise to keep your skin in good shape. Keep plenty of lotion on at all times. Walking is the best excercise your first 2 months. Keep us updated Thank you for the complment. I need to update my pictures. Im alot smaller now. Will be thinking of you.
Hugs

Betina... best of luck tomorrow! I had surg 4/17.. still have some rough days but soo much better...the first 8 weeks were tough. Walk as soon as you can.. and try your best to get in your fluids... then work on the protein. If you don't get the fluids you feel sick and can't eat anything..... It is an amazing journey.... I am excited for you. I Look forward to your future posts!
