Hello all! I haven't been around for awhile as we moved and now only have slower than molasses dial up and it takes forever to get here! I am 9 months out, stuck between 95 and 97 pound for the last 2 months I'd say. In the last 2 months I have taken up a training program and went from not being able to run around the track one time....to now I ENJOY a 3.5 mile run (who'd of thunk!) anyway...I am terribly frustrated at my lack of loss of amking the scale move. My clothing sze also is stagnant. I know, I know....muscle weighs more than fat and all that, but anyone with some good advice to get serious with this....I want wonderland soon and I have an additional 40 to get off after onederland! Are you getting in enough calories, protein and water? I was stuck in June I actually gained weight that month (I was so depressed about that). I went to the nutritionist and was told to up my calories. I was still around 3-400 a day. I am now around 650-800 a day. It took a few weeks for my body to adjust but now I am seeing a weight loss of about 5-6 pounds a week. Hope this helps MJ

Stephanie, Just to clarify, you are not on a 9 month plateau, you are 9 months out and have hit a plateau! I saw this on another site, it's simple and looks like it would be very effective (courtesy of Dr. Fox via Nancy J.): ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Dr. Fox's Plateau Busting Diet This is the plan that Dr. Fox gives to his RNY and AGB patients in order to get through a plateau in weight loss. #1 Do for 10 days to break plateau #2 Drink 2 quarts of water a day #3 You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamin & mineral supplements each day. #4 You may consume up to 3 oz. of the following high-protein foods, 5 times a day: a.. beef, b.. pork, c.. chicken, d.. turkey, e.. lamb, f.. fish, g.. eggs, h.. low-fat cheese, i.. cottage cheese, j.. plain yogurt (or artificially sweetened), k.. peanut butter, l.. beans/legumes. #5 You may also have: a.. sugar-free popsicles (avoid juice popsicles), b.. tea or coffee, c.. sugar-free sodas, d.. sugar-free Jello, e.. broths & bouillons, f.. Crystal Lite drinks. #6 IF IT IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU MAY NOT HAVE IT! #7 Keep a food diary and try to get 30 minutes of exercise daily.

Hi Stephanie The plateau buster definately works. And, I would say you're right where you're "supposed" to be. I think most of us slow down to a crawl at 9 months. Good luck! Sharyn
