Weight Loss

OK..this question is really for those Posties like me. How many of you have lost a ton of weight to the point that your a little scared you wont stop loosing? I'm scared because I am still loosing and am down to 135lbs and still have to have skin removed. Yes, Dr. C said I will gain 10-15Lbs back but I'm still scared. I have had blood work done and all is fine....So, anyone out there get this small or smaller from the surgery?.....Thanks..............Pam

Pam, My daughter had her WLS 4 years ago. She started out around 270 and is down to 118 and yes is worried also. It's not as bad as it was about a month or 2 ago. She's been stable now for about a month. She wears a size 0 in pants and an XS in a top. Sometimes she shops for her tops in the children's section. She really doesn't look too skinny. Every time she runs into a stressful situation she loses weight. But she went to her surgeon for an annual exam last week and he told her she was healthy as a horse. Good Luck.....I'd maybe discuss this with your surgeon..... myabe he can set your mind at ease. Peg

Hi Pam, Yep I got a little worried too! I got down to 126 and people were commenting on how skinny I looked. I thought I was looking a little to thin myself. When I saw Dr C, he reassured me all was fine and that I would regain 10-15 pounds. Well he was right! I am now at 147 and feel great. Try not to worry. Cathy
