Help if you went to Barix in Groveport

Hi everyone, I finally got the OK from my pcp...well at least she's going to monitor my 6 month diet attempt. Barix Ohio recommends I have a sleep study. They asked me to give the clearance sheet to my pcp and have her send me for a sleep study...but she says, "if they want you to have one, then they should send you". Who's responsibility is it? I have a PPO, I don't thnk I need a referral. Will Barix work with my pcp to coordinate my care or am I the go-between?

if you don't need a referral do it yourself they wrote my referral but i didn't actually need one... i guess that i don't understand your pcp's attitude??????? i guess i must repeat that if you don't need a referral just do it yourself and be done with it-sooner it is completed ( the study) and you get help if needed; the closer to your surgery... best of luck! i am a barix groveport alumni....

My pcp sent me for a sleep study... why not? I don't understand your doctors attitude! this can only help you. Check with your ppo.. if yo don't need a referal, get it with out ..otherwise I would look for a doctor who will support and care about you. Good luck.

When I started with Barix they wanted me to have one and I just scheduled it myself. Good thing, because I needed it.
