I'm having surgery

Well, I am having my gallbladder taken out on July 31. I'm am very nervous and thinking about canceling it. Although I was having disconfort it seems to have gone away so maybe it wasnt the gallbladder at all.

I can attest to that one Dr. Curry..mine bothered me bad for awhile, I went on a liquid diet before my daughters wedding hoping to lesson the chance of an attack..it helped, now that I am eating normal it bothers me once again. Mostly pain in my tummy..not to mention when Dr. Sonnanstine poked around it hurt soooo bad.. I don't want to wait for an attack, I prefer to have it out while I am feeling good...I figure healing time will be easier if I am not violently puking my guts out (sorry for the visual) right before surgery. mine comes out next Wed..

I had mine out over a year ago. Don't wait for an attack. You'll wish you'd had the darn thing yanked, trust me.

Hey Sarah, if you read this tonight or in the AM..I will see you at St. Luke, my daughter wants to be along with her hubby to say her goodbyes in the morning..I told her I would be at St. Luke so if she needs me to call and I will meet her once his plane takes off..she is acting like it's not big deal...but tomorrow she will fall apart when she says goodbye..we were with them all evening, it breaks my heart seeing him go back to Iraq see you early Brenda
