I appreciate everyone's help - even Dr. C. My doctor is awesome as well. The silly question and maybe I missed this in all my info I qwas buried with - what is a stricture? Ok - then when you all inform me of that - how is it cured and is this a major set back. I am sure they will tell me when I call tomorrow, but instead of worrying until then I would appreciate your input. Everyone on here has been so helpful. This life style change is not something that everyone you knwo has done - actually hardly anyone I know has had it done. Family and friends try to be supportive, but they can only do so much. It i snot the easiest thing for someone who has not gone thorugh it to understand. Thanks again everyone!

A stricture is a narrowing of the connection between the pouch and the small intestine. It's usually fixed by stretching it with a balloon dilator. C
