gallbladder
thought I would seek out advise, suggustion from my favorite board.
I was told and also had a ultrasound that I have gall stones and its inflamated
I went to see a surgen but he didn't think it was necessary to remove it so I guess its mine for now. (no choice in the matter)
My band doctor is concerned because he said I can lose the band if its get infected but I have to go what the insurance give me and right now its nothing.
so my question is will this slow or stop my weight loss? Its been six month and I'm haven't lose a damn thing. Makes my wonder if I should have gone with another procedure. How can I start loseing again? and yes I do exercise watch my daily intake and keep the carbs low and drink water. I feel so lost and alone and a failure.
Any advise will be appricated.
Sorry about your situation. Dr. C did my LAPBAND and then 6 weeks later we got to meet in surgery for the gall bladder. (I didn't even know I had a problem before the LAPBAND). In any event, I don't think I could have managed what I need to do with the LAPBAND and the problems that the gallbladder created (pain), so I am glad he removed it.
Could you get a 2nd opinion---preferrably by someone who is familar with LAPBAND, WLS and gallbladder issues that can come up.
Good Luck.
