Thought I would finally post after lurking ahwile

First off, let me tell all of you who have gone thru the surgery that I absolutely, positively admire each and every one of you! You are my support and guidance throughout my journey. I met with Dr. Ben-Meir in June, had my psychological exam, had an echocardiogram and my next appt. is with a vascular surgeon is the 2nd of August. My only setback is with Cigna. Its the same old "6 month physician monitored weight managment" thing. So with that being said I AM SO READY!!! I wish I could have the surgery before the end of 2006 but it doesn't look too good. Having it in 2007, my company requires all vacation days to be used for time off and I only get 16 days. But, being the positive person that I am...my vacation in 2008 will be in the most colorful, revealing swimsuit I've ever owned. How's that for looking ahead!!!

absolutely possitive.. im praying i can get mine by the end of the year, im a big wuss when it comes to heat and pain..lol... i have my endo thingy the 8th of aug.. i had my nutrition thing yesturday and i have to have my physc and cardeologist app. this coming month too.. and i have already been on the diabedic diet for over a year now, so im hopeing that helps out a lot..
