Hello, New to this board!

Hello, My name is Melissa, I had my surgery in Jan. 06. I am always lurking on the board but I never speak up. I am living in Texas but I was born and raised in Southern Ohio, I went to school in CLeveland. Discovery Health is filming my progess, check out my profile! The reason I am post here to day is to invite all of you to a party in Lucasville, Ohio, I would love to meet with any of you who have had surgery or wanting to have surgery and we would love to see you at the party! Hi Melissa, Congratulations on your progress. It sounds like you are adjusting well to most things. I bet you will be in the 100's by January because it sounds like you want it so bad. When will Discovery being showing your story? I would love to see it. Did you contact them or did they contact you? I always wondered how that worked. Hello Nikkie, Thank you! I really hope I am in the 100's by January that would be WONDERFUL! I am not sure when Discovery will be showing my story. They are plaining to film me until I hit my "Goal weight" which my doctor set at 155. They contacted me, they heard about me through my doctor. They had filmed other people he has did surgery on. I asked them why they choose me and it was only because of my weight. I will keep you posted on when it will show. THank you again! Melissa
