I haven't had any surgery on my knees but wondered if weight loss helped you knees much. Mine are shot. I figure I might need knee replacement but I'm hoping that weight loss will help me some with the pain. My goal for losing weight is to be able to move and get around. Some days it hurts just to stand. Dianna

Weight loss helped, but my knee problems are more from osteoarthritis. My weight DID make them go faster, but was not the cause. I'm scheduled for surgery on 07/07/2006. I've heard really good things about Dr. Turner and know several people who have used him and absolutely love him. Just getting nervous and want as much input as I can get.
