I have been so busy with my daughter, I just realized that on the 18th it had been 3 yrs. since my WLS..with no weight gain!!
I am so glad I had it done..I found old pics of me, one day when I have time I will post them..wowsker, they were me at my heaviest..307..I had no idea these pics existed..as I always hid from the camera..
Well I am going to go take a shower..hubby and I just got back from my daughters house..I got more paint on me than I did on the walls..LOL
have a wonderful day

Congrats Brenda,
You are always so great in helping us on this board. 3ears and no weight gain. A rue inspiration this surgery does work if you work it. It is a tool. and you really have to want it to work. I am still thinking hard on the weekend in lexington. I know we go camping and the oct 8 -15 at cowan lake it it the big hallaween thing there. reall cool. But I am free that weekend. I want to find someone to share expenses with and a room with. I can get the military discount on a hotel outside lexing but not in lexington. I think alot of people want to stay in lexington.
Take Care
Barb
Thank you...!!
I will not be attending the Lexington conference, I did help pull it together but other obligations are keeping me from going that weekend. Georgetown is going to be very involved inthat event so between them and Monica I am sure you will have a good one!
However, OH is putting Cincy back on for another event in 2007...I will be pulling that one together as well, more details to come after they have approved the sites and dates for next year.

Brenda,
Congrats! You have made such a difference in so many peoples lives,
we are all very grateful for you and all that you do. Thank you for taking time with me, it has been wonderful, I left a message for Debbie, she may have called, I haven't checked my voice mail yet. Talk to you soon Linda Bell
It's been a great ride...and it does take some discipline and work..but here is my advise for anyone starting out.
Do it right from day one!! If you are compliant within that first year, it is a bit easier as you go..but if not, once you get to that one year and realize the mistakes,...there is no turning back!!
no one said this was going to be easy and it's certainly not the easy way out. I often times I have to back up and think about what I am doing..like now. Helping my daughter move and working in her new house. My eating has been horrible, she is in there now and I realize I have to get back on the wagon right away or I will allow it to slip by and get out of control...And I ain't going back to where I came from, know what i mean???
have a great day
Brenda
