Vickie when I went to Cincy. We went to a huge country bar metropolis and there is line dancing. There was a huge outlit mail. and jungle jims. There is so much to do in Cincy. I am going back on the 12th to see the rascal flatts concert. Cant wait. A all girl trip. Then we are staying at a hotel over the river. Anyone know of any clubs around that area. Thanks barb

Have done a few fun things in Cincy, but didn't know about the country bar; have to research that. Love Jungle Jim's and the malls! Would love to go to the casino, but DH isn't interested. THX

If you live in Dayton then you are probably familiar with Indian Lake - my all time favorite place to be - grew up on that lake - my family had a cottage there - very pretty place - I tend to go for "lakes" - or somewhere by the water - I also love to go to Geneva on the Lake - a quaint little throw back - with a small antique carnival atmosphere with a boardwalk, lots of beach space - and fun things to do - it is a great wine country if you are interested in that at all... the wineries are fun places to go - with tours of the vineyards and cute gift shops - pretty BB - my other top favorite place is Presque Isle - although that is on PA boarder - and I guess I am on the north east boarder of OHio - so not as far for us - I live near Youngstown - Presque Isle is a beautiful island on Lake Erie -lots of fun bike trails, walking trails, and pretty landscaping and of course the beaches of Lake Erie - My DH and I are celebrating our 20 anniversary next week -and we are taking off for a couple days and driving to Rehoboth Beach Delaware - only about a 7 hour drive - and the OCEAN! (my other all time favorite place to be!) Hope you have a great time! LIZ

Wow, now that's alot of interesting info! I, too, love the water and haven't been any of the places you mentioned. We didn't grow up here and haven't done much local travel, so there are lots of choices. That's why I asked the question here on the Ohio bd. Happy Anniversary! We have #32 coming up later this year!! I think I'll keep him !

My husband and I had a FANTASTIC Romantic weekend at The Inn at Honey Run in Amish Country. The scenery was beautiful and talk about ACCOMODATIONS! We had our own balcony that overlooked trees. When we walked in they had a bottle of cider chilling and a CD of piano music and birds singing, we never put the TV on. The dining room is wonderful. I was able to eat a cup of soup and the scallop appetizer. take a look at their website, www.innathoneyrun.com Let them know it is a special occasion, they may give you extra treament, they upgraded our room and gave us a dessert at dinner. Continental Breakfast is included. You can go to an area cheese shop and get cheese and have a little wine. Mel

Mel, that sounds terrific. I am definitely going to check that out. I see you are in Hilliard. My daughter's BF lives there so she burns up I-70 between here and there on a regular basis!! Of course, he does, too. They LOVE to eat at Windward Passage. We haven't been there yet, but she talks about it all the time. Thanks for the tip! Hugs, Vicki

What your talking about is very rare. I think it is the steroids. I just think your maybe eating the wrong foods and not excercise. I would go back to the basics yogart oatmeal and fruits and salads and soups. To get your stomach shrunk. 50 pounds you can lose it. Take care barb

Hi, Vicki. For Easter we went to Hocking Hills and rented a fully furnished house in the woods. There was a gas grill, fire ring w/firewood, hottub on the deck and a short drive from hiking, waterfalls, antiquing, they always seem to have street fairs and such. Lots to do and very romantic, too!

DH and I love quick getaways in Louisville KY. There's all kinds of Bed and Breakfasts to choose from, and there's a Six flags, and downtown has a Glassworking gallery, Louisville Slugger museum, and I mustn't forget to mention Bardstown Rd wiht many bars, funky stores and restaurants.
