Tests

Hi All, I just got back from my consult with Dr. Vig at BC in Groveport. I have UHC who I called and they advised they will pay 90%, no copay. From here I know that they will be mailing my file to Michigan for Insurance to be submitted. Just wondering how long it took everyone to get approved/denied and what tests need to be done before surgery. I thought there were tons of tests but Dr. Vig said I don't need to get the sleep apnea test and I'm good to go.

As long as your policy has no exclusions, UHC is a breeze to work with. You probably have a maximum out of pocket for each year (mine was $1500, for example), so you can get an idea of what you'll be paying for later.
