OKay. I am sure you are all tired of hearing about my journey to nowhere with this surgery.I thought I was on my way last time.. Medicaid wanted my xrays.. I sent them to them...They sent them back...They wanted my surgeon to send them to them..Okay , they did that...Now they are returning them because there is no one at Medicaid to read them............I need my doctor to send in the report on them (this was already done on the original paper, now they want it on a separate piece of paper)... And they want a paper stating she will not do surgery because of my morbid obesity..(this is also on the original paper they have but now it needs to be worded different) IS THIS RIDICULOUS OR WHAT? My doctor is out of town till the end of June, so I can't get the papers (that I already have****il then....I am ready to fall apart. If I had any money or any savings at all I would get a lawyer but I don't even have the money to get a car to go to get these papers when the time comes. What is driving me crazy is they already have these papers, but now they want them on separate papers one for the read on the xrays and one for the refusal to do surgery...And there's no one to call to complain to...What do you think of this?

Find out who your congressman/woman is and either email or write them or call their office. It couldn't hurt

Find out who your Ohio congressman and senator are and either write them a letter telling them how you are jerked around or email them. Email your Federal Senators and Congressmen.... or call them all on the phone. You have to raise hell and put a prop under it. I understand what a nightmare this is. Just KEEP at them.... do you have a "troubleshooter" on your local news? Contact him. Threaten to go to the medial... etc etc. It is ridiculous you should be kept from getting healthy!! Nancy

I am going to do that. I was going to call the local new but then I started thinking of what I would look like on tv.Typical white trash fat lady...I don't care who you are, you always look like a hillbilly when the local news interviews you.I will try the congress and senator first....What gets me is I was always a healthy fat person and could deal with that BUT now I have not been able to function properly for almost 4 years and want to do something about it and they are fighting me.

Thanks Vickie! I was going to write them a few months back but that's when I got the pending approval..Now I will write them.. I just can't believe that it's come down to something as lame as thins...Wanting the papers they already have, just worded different and on separate pages....I want a job at this place because I could sit there all day and say no too, heck I do it all day to my kids...No..No...No... Thanks again.. It just gets SO frustrating not being able to talk to a real person and it having to go through about three different people just to ask them a question...And time , time, time just keeps going and life keeps passing me by...

try www.ohioinsurance.gov you can register a complaint and I believe you can ask for an ombudsman to help you... Hang-in-there. Mel
