I'm Home

HEllo gang I saw Melissa updated you after she visited me at the hospital MELISSA THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU ENCOURAGEMENT, well anyway I did go thru with even though when they got me in the OR I freaked out on them and they had to take me back to my family and they were able to calm me down and convince me to go thru with it after about 10-15 minutes of my wife, mom, sister, niece, nephew and close family friend talking to me back to the OR I went for a 2 hour pretty much uneventful surgery. The pain and agony now is leaving to question if it was worth it. Gotta go really hurts sitting in this chair will update soon Jim

I almost left the preop room myself... I was fine until the day of surgery.. the pain eases up and it will be worth it. I'm just 6 weeks out, still have some rough times and waiting to feel "normal" again.... at least nausea free, but it is getting better. The first 2-3 weeks are real tough. WELCOME HOME !!!! And yes it will be worth it. Just give it one week. My friend Michelle says the first week she wanted to croak but now it is so worth it. Keep keeping on. You'll make it and be happy for it.

Hello gang just a little update I'm 10 days post-op now and things are starting to get a little better everyday I can't wait till tommorow to start the pureed stage and introduce some real food who would of ever thought 10 days would feel like eternity I have my first follow Dr's appt Tues June 13 and i'll get my staples out and get to see if I have took off any weight Well i'll update later Jim
