Update on Jim Dyke

Good Morning Ohio OH family!! I stopped at the hospital yesterday to check on Jim and his family. Jim DID have the surgery despite some last minute nerves. He was in a lot of pain and was still hooked up to his morphine on demand pump. As of yesterday afternoon, he had only been out of bed twice and wasn't able to walk more than 30-40 feet because of the pain. Please keep him in your prayers and thoughts as he recovers...it might be quite a journey for him. His wife Missy, son Dylan, mom and a family friend were with him yesterday and seem very supportive. All asked me to thank everyone here for all their support and wods of wisdom to Jim as he explored and got ready for this surgery. Plans are that Jim will be discharged on Saturday and has promised an update as soon as he can sit at the computer! Have an awesome weekend! Melissa
