Still waiting

I'm getting very frustrated with waiting and very discouraged. In March I got insurance approval after a year. I than found out Bartix Center was out of network and I needed to go to Ohio state. I immediately sent them everything I had. They needed me to see dietician and do blood tests. Did that. Than they needed a specific referal to a specific doctor. Did that. Than they needed two different blood tests, did that. And I'm still waiting. I know once accepted I will need to attend 4 weeks of dietary classes. I was hoping to do this in June and have my surgery in July. Now it seems it may be August. It took me so long to accept the surgery and to be emotionally ready and now I am am and all it seems is I get help up. I am so frustrated. Dianna

Hi Dianna, I know it is frustrating to wait. I had no hope of getting mine paid for since i am over 55 and there is an exclusing in my policy. So I am having the lapband 6 weeks after I decided to do it. But ..... I am paying for it but am lucky to have an extremely experienced doctor Roberto Rumbaut in Monterey Mexio who is himself banded and has done more than 3000 of the LapBand procedures. You will get your surgery and it will all be wort the wait. Im leaving tomorrow and having surgery on Thursday. BOY I cannot WAIT until it's over!! God Bless. Nancy
