I had a stricture!

I went to have an endoscopy done on Friday...I had been throwing up alot and had terrible pain with food and pills. My opening is supposed to be the size of a dime and it was the size of a pen point! I feel much better and have been able to drink!!!! Please make sure you tell the Doctor if you have these symptoms. Mel

Hope you are feeling better. I know I had that problem about one month out, but I did not have a stricture. I was just really dehydrated. They put me in OSU for 4 days. Take Care! Julie

Thanks for the advise. I did call the Dr and they said to stay away from tap water and only drink bottled... I have found that if i drink tiny sips of fluids that it goes down easier. Pills still hurt. I am going to my pcp this week to see if he will change my rx to smaller pills! i am glad that things are going well for you
