back surgeons appointment

I went to the back surgeon as was told i had to by my "old" family physision because she (the old family doc) said she i needed the back surgery first that way she could put me on a diet and i could exersize like "normal" people and lose my weight. well the back doc said..."he will not operate on me with the weight i am, that he didn't operate on people that could have a heart attact on his table" i asked him what would be his sugestion to lose the weight and he said wls, and that he will dictate a leter to the doc and say just that. i realy apreciated the fact that he was so honest with me, i know that i am very unhealthy and thats the main reason i want my wls. So i'll be praying lots that i will be able to get it soon Take care all Paual

hi Paula, I hope your "old" family physision will look at the letter from your back surgeon and see the light. I canged family doctors because my "old" one said to just go back on WW... like that really helped before LOL.... new doc (same office) said yes about wls - and had helped me along the way..... thank you i hope my old one looks at it too.. it was weird to cause she was younger and youd think they would go for it more than the older docs but that not true.. my new doc is very old and hes the one who said what ever you need me to do to help u get this i will.. Paula

hmm - that is just like at my docs office - the younger doc (the one I was seeing first) was the one to tell me to do WW again.... and the older in age one (my newer doc) is the one that helped me out! lol Let me know how everything goes! Starr
