So freaking excited! I have been on my pre-op diet since beginning of January. The first few weeks were tough. But let me tell you, this past week since I started Medifast on Thursday of last week, I lost 7 pounds in 7 days!!! I had already lost 9. I am down my necessary amount to get surgery! I have a date for MARCH 6TH!! 10 freaking days!!!!! So proud of myself as everyone at the Bariatric center were telling me how great I'm doing and have done. ***grinning***

Stalling is very common. Your body has to go through the "WTF" stage and adjust. That usually occurs at a couple months out. If it lasts more than a couple of weeks at this point you really need to take a look at what you are eating. Change up your exercise. If you've been doing the same routine day in day out, your body will remember that and not burn calories as effectively as it first did. It is also possible that you are not eating enough. Sound strange but you do need to eat to loose.

Topic: Any patients of Dr. Buchin
Hi I have just made an appointment with Dr Buchin in Huntington for my husband for a consult. Just wondering if there are any Buchin patients that can give me any feedback. Good or bad. Thanks in advance!

Well - there are MANY different protein drinks and supplements.  It comes down to your tastes....once you find one you like, you can search via google for a good price...

If you're pre-op, don't buy a ton, because your tates will change after surgery (it'll come back - but changes post-op when it comes to protein - it's like the taste buds "awaken")

Good luck!
