Hey GF- I'm ten years out. Keep up with your support and supporting! No one knows what we go through but US! Thoughts are with you!
Hope all is well! Today you had an eval, hope you are still on "moving right along."
Hi- You can call me anytime- forget the holiday--call if you need to talk. Take a deep breath- all of us were nervous. i was a WRECK. It was the best decision I ever made. You will have a tool that will let you follow a diet. No more crazy hunger or guilt when you screw up, and for maybe the first time you will realize that you can lose weight. I actually thought I had a metabolic disorder and could never lose weight. 956-4814. Ready but nervous is a great thing! You will be fine. Dr. Dawn
Hi, I'm from Troy I am having my next week surgery Nov. 27th. St. Peter's Hospital Dr. Trivedi.... Mixed emotions I'm ready but nervous.. I have found alot of support on OH...

Hi. If you need to talk call me. 956-4814. It's been 10 years for me and my best advice is for you to go to the support groups. You can never have too many buddies in this journey.
I was there this past Thursday on the 8th Nov-5;30pm-7:30pm and my husband was with me. I will be attending Monday's (Nov 12th) 11am-12pm support group.
I am moving right along here. Will be glad once I have the surgery date in writing. They tell me the end of Dec/early Jan. Pulmonary Eval on Nov 20th, PA Jean Talbot on Dec 4th - so it is getting closer.
I am also on the support group's online page.

This posting is kind of late. Don't know if you have started the process yet. Dr. Angstandt did my VSG a few weeks ago. Love him but had issues with the office. They are very busy and I had to keep on top of them for insurance approval. They didn't start the process soon enough and I didn't get approval until 48 hrs before surgery. But he is great and the surgeon is the most important part. Had it done at St. Charles. Staff there was excellent.
