Thank you - I'm not sure I'm willing to go that far (I'm almost in VT and the Canadian border here in Plattsburgh), but I'll still look into him although it'd be over 300 miles. I'm also looking into Saratoga Hospital, and Fletcher Allen in Burlington VT, possibly at Potsdam too, along with Albany Med, Ellis, Saranac Lake/Dr. Hill, and Dr. Graber/Utica. My main concern is insurance, but also the overall program. Thank you for your reply.
I would like to throw another one out to you. I had surgery with Dr.Joseph Johnson at Highland hospital in Rochester. He was amazing and the staff are awesome. They are considered one of the best programs around here. They have three surgeons on staff but whomever does your orientation does your surgery so if you set one up ask for his. They have a good website if you Google them.
Good to know, I'll look into him too - thank you :)
I am waiting on approval to have mine done by Dr. Baranov at Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga. Its a new program and he has been very good with the process.
which surgeon have you chosen ? I will be going to the Middletown office for the first time on Jan . 2. Where are you from ? I am from upstate NY , not too far from Hunter Mountain.
I'm a patient of Tri-State Bariatrics in Suffern, 1 week away from my revision surgery.
Was a patient in Port Jervis/Middletown in 2005 when I had LapBand.
I'm a lot happier with the surgeon I am seeing now, than who I had in Middletown.
I'm trying to choose between Dr. Graber (utica/syracuse), University Hospital in Syracuse, Dr. Hill (Saranac Lake), and Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks. Distance wouldn't me much of a problem with any of them.
Just wondering if anyone has used Tri State Bariatrics in Middletown or Fishkill NY . I'm just looking for some feedback . Thanks
Hey Elmira,NY people. just wondering how you all are doing............ Anita
