Hi guys,
I can't remember where I read this but hoping you can help out.
There is a lady (not sure from where) who fights with insurance companies for those who have been denied WLS and charges $300 ONLY if she wins.
I am aware of Walter Lindstrom, Jr. and already have his info but I'd like to give someone I just recently met both names, etc.
If you have her contact info please send it to me ASAP.

Hey Everyone! I love attending LIPO!
Just wanted to let you know about 3 other area groups... :)
My group that I run, SCALE--Second Chance At Life Everyday! :)
We meet in the Community Center at Sayville Commons apt complex every other Saturday morning at 9am. :) We have a meeting this Saturday, 3/12/11 and every other Sat after that.

It's a great group, if I do say so myself! lol
Also, Good Samaritan Hospital has a group(open to everyone) the opposite Saturday mornings also at 9...The hospital is on Montauk Hwy in West Islip. We meet in the conference room behind the cafeteria--the front desk can direct you. So, their next meeting is next Saturday 3/19/11 and every other Sat after that. Great group!
Also, my friend good friend and fellow OH support group leader, Rachel leads a group, POSE LI--Post Ops Supporting Each Other on LI--2 Thursday evenings a month at Panera Bread in East Meadow(for now--new location in the works) Also an awesome group!
No matter which you attend, or multiple, get support someplace--it's the key to our success! Right, Maryellen??? :)

Are you a Dr. Cooperstone patient?
Some Dr.'s only do open procedures as either they haven't gone for the laproscopic training or feel that it should be done openly.
Many of my friends from my bariatric support group, LIPO (Long Island Post Ops) have had it done open and are doing great.
Some support groups, like mine, do offer clothing exchanges. Addtionally, thrift stores are a good suggestion. The one near my Dr.'s office right next door to Mather Hospital, has an exchange, bring something, take something.

Open RnY 2/28/11 First anyone else have open RNY? or the Micro Pouch? . Does anyone know of a clothing exhange program. I am going through clothes and wanted to donate them and hopefully some one can use them
