Good Day NYers

Hi everybody! I'm just recently getting focussed on WLS and I'm usually on the Ontario board. I have my first consult on April 7th with a surgeon in Toronto, but wait times in Ontario (and other parts of Canada too) are atrocious so I'm also considering having the surgery performed in the US. Sooooooooo I'm wondering if there are any other Canadians here from Ontario who have been through the OOC process with OHIP and who can recommend a surgeon in the Buffalo area who accepts OHIP patients. Jane; My doctor in Buffalo is Dr. Lael Forbes, her number is 716-859-7581. I do not know if she takes your insurance or not, but she is the most wonderful doctor. Her staff is very helpful as well. If they do not take your insurance, they might be able to help you with you can. Good luck on your quest. Its only been 2.5 months since my surgery and except for a few bumps, it is the most wonderful thing I could of done for myself. Karen
