Hello everyone. Thanks for all your support notes. The surgery went well but I was very sick the day after. Was having major nausea. I ended up going down for a catscan because the surgeon thought that maybe the gas was backing up into the old stomach, but luckily that wasnt the case. Did find some other stuff wrong inside me, but dont want to bore you all with that. Still having bouts of nausea but not as bad. Dr. still has me drinking jus****er and diluted juice. Feels very strange not to feel hungry. lol Still having some gas pain but I am moving as much as I can trying to move that along. lol Im so thirsty though..geez I would give anything to just guzzle a bottle of really cold water!! lol. Hope all of you are doing well. Karen

Hey karen, I am so glad to hear everything went pretty well and you are home. Remember to sip sip and sleep!! I developed gastric distention in the bypassed part of my stomach a day after my surgery. I vaguelly remember that. Good thing it didnt happen to you though! Anyway, good luck and keep us updated on your! Take care. Tavia

Welcome to the losing side! I'm glad that your surgery went well. Keep moving and don't worry you will feel like eating a little later on--do drink as much as possible --and feel good soon! Be Blessed. Marian S.C.
